sad to hear of your situation but its good you might have a way out? very scarey leaving everyone/thing behind, but better that than be more damaged staying? In staying it will definitely stay the same, in leaving there’s hope for freedom for a better life?
They’re all different i guess. their own rules for your protection, and like the rest of the world, its about the connections to good people around us, same in Refuge i think, amongst workers and other residents.

It will get you will be away from the abuse and risks to you both, and you won’t be alone with it all anymore.

I was interested to hear others’ experiences, anyone?

Not coping really no. So long and so slow it seems and yet not feeing like moving forward, just a mess.

i lost the post i made before 🙁 just disappeared, so hoping it doesn’t suddenly appear now that i’ve done it all again 😉
