Hi ladies, Have you been sent the email from survivors womens aid champions? They’re looking for survivors input. The new bill on domestic abuse is being discussed in parliament befor Christmas. There’s a survivors bill there put forward bu womens aid. I felt there were a few points missing, hope that’s not cheeky but it certainly looks like we will hopefully move forward soon xx very positive for us 😊💪💕

Hi IWMB, I think you’re ever more of a survivor if your still there. It’s a journey indeed b****y hard one. Yeh I know what your saying, maybe we should write a letter to the MP wonder which one would listen ? Xx Nichola Sturgeon maybe xx 💕 DIY✌

They actually never mentioned emotional abuse in the bill. Or funding because certainly that’s what’s lacking up here. I don’t know of any specialist lawyers or DV counsellors here either. Which is shocking. No wonder we struggle to end the cycle of abuse. It’s man’s inhumanity yo woman still to this day. No one is dealing with it up here xx 💕

Christina Mckelvie msp is a forerunner for domestic abuse in Scotland. Not sure who’s equalities officer now, was Clare Adamson msp, Scotgov are moving on leaps and bounds with this horrendous situation. Find your msp/mp online who your local msp(this covers Holyrood) and your mp(this them covers westminster) Regarding who to contact, all of them, mass email, petitioning whatever it takes.
We are women, we are strong. Reminds me of an advert years ago, not sure what fir, but it was ‘I am lion, hear me roar’!!
      🙂🦁
