A bit confused

Hi not sure if this is the correct board to post in. I am still experiencing domestic abuse from my ex partner, I work with a domestic abuse agency who have reported me to social services because my grandchildren visit me.

To put some clarity on the situation I do not live with my ex partner, he has never been to the house whilst my grandchildren visit ( if he did I would automatically call 999), they never stay overnight and I am never left alone with them, am I doing anything wrong by having them visit ?

It sounds like you take great care to make sure your grandchildren would never witness any abuse, and I’m glad that you already have the plan to call 999 if your ex partner showed up while they were there. If they’re not around the abuse, it does sound like they’re probably not at risk from it. Hopefully, the domestic abuse agency spoke to you about why they were concerned enough to make the referral to social services and kept you involved in that process. Family Rights Group provide advice and support to families where social care services are involved so you could contact them for further information.

Thank you for replying, the agency I deal with have known my grandchildren visit since I started working with them, but was never a problem. I feel they are doing it to force me into reporting
