Abuse or reactive abuse?

I was hoping to get your opinions.
I recently came across a message I sent my friend many years ago while doing a search for something else in my email account.
In the message I told her I would give details later. Then I told her that I had called my partner (now ex-partner) a name and then he strangled me and hit my inner thigh.
I recall another time when he strangled me, but to be honest, things happened so often I don’t remember every incident.
I have been gathering ‘evidence’, and I’m not sure if this is useful.

I hope you are ok. Any detail of any incidents can be useful so do include it all. Strangling you is extremely abusive and high risk. Keep posting to us to let us know you are, it can really help to post on here for support as detail of the abuse comes back to you.
