I know this isn’t really related to abuse etc..
But I haven’t taken care of myself properly for years and have decided to invest in a decent anti wrinkle face cream.
I’m under 40 so don’t need anything too extreme.
The only wrinkles I can see for now are around my eyes, and under them.
They only really stand out when I smile or laugh.
I’ve been exercising more too, and eating healthier.
It’s hard with the kids and being on my own to exercise though, I can’t really go out jogging etc so I mostly use my commute to work as exercise and I have a little toning routine I do at home.
      It only takes 10-15 minutes.
I also run up and down the stairs a few times, just for exercise.
It’s good for toning your legs and gets your heart racing.
Have any other ladies been starting new things to look after themselves?
We need to for our mental health, and to feel good, and it will benefit our children if we work at feeling good about ourselves.
      X*x

I love Moroccan black soap. There’s a shop called Sallys which supplies hair and beauty salons. Some of the shops retail to the public as well. It’s real fun in there if you like that kind of thing and you can find all sorts of things you never knew existed.

Its great that you are putting energy into caring for yourself, and yes, greta for the children too. All have pamper times together, or family exercise/dancing. Dancing is fabulous family exercise…so long as you get the right tunes!

The game that plays music and shows you the steps to follow, and by holding a chuck it measures your similarity to the dance steps, if you want to get competitive, but its great for the kids because they are often very good at the moves so stand a good chance of winning some, or even all of the games!

The very best thing ever for your skin is a strong circulation and good nutrition. So the exercise youare doing is going to have huge benefits all over, and using products to keep your skin from overdrying, the rest is genetics, sadly, or happily!

      warmest wishes

      ts

        Thanks Twistedsister.

The game sounds good, I’ll give it a try.
        My youngest really enjoys dancing.
My mum looks young for her age so hopefully I end up the same!! X

I found walking and you tube exercise videos good.

I have not come across facial cream that I can recommend.

I lost weight with fresh fruit / vegs with fresh meals and removing junk McDonald’s etc. my face is different now.
