Is anyone else affected by benefit cap coming in? I’ve been told to avoid being massively worse off a week I need to find a job asap but I’ve explained I am looking but have a young baby and no support so need to find something which i can get childcare around. They said get christmas temp job but i cant get childcare round a zero hours flexible day job. Feel like I’m talking to robots on the phone and it’s only when I started crying they showed any concern. Havent lived in this area long and they said i need to look at moving but we are only just settling here after moving from previous abuse and don’t want the upheaval again. I know the answer is to get a job and I’m not trying to sponge off anyone, just look after my baby. Anyone else the same?
