      Hello Cookiecake,

It sounds like it might be helpful to access some legal advice in terms of your rights and options around your ex’s contact with your daughter.
The Rights of Women can offer free initial legal advice over the phone, their Family Law advice line may be a good place to start: https://rightsofwomen.org.uk/get-advice/

You could also connect with your local domestic abuse service for support and advice. You can find your nearest service here: https://www.womensaid.org.uk/womens-aid-directory/

      Take care and keep posting,
      Lisa

The Court Said is another helpful resource https://thecourtsaid.org.

HG Tudor is an expert in all things abuse and might be able to guide you. His advice has helped me a lot and he opens the lid on how abusers think and operate.

If you’re dealing with the courts, both you and your daughter will probably be assessed by a social worker and possibly Cafcass. Always have someone with you. Never let your daughter be alone.

We are allowed a witness for any interview and we’re allowed to record those interviews as long as we tell them. Neither you nor your child should ever be alone in these circumstances, and recording with permission is legal. If they try to put you off, stop the interview
