Went to the local pub for a drink that had ice in it after a long day sorting things at home (my freezer’s broken), and was welcomed back so warmly by people I haven’t spoken to in years.

Apparently, I’m looking a lot better now than I have in a long, long time when they’ve seen me out with the dog or going to my car.

I probably could have got very drunk on the offers of having a drink bought for me from so many people.

Had 2 drinks and came home ‘though. Exhausted by the conversation, laughter, and being included. I’d totally forgotten what normal relaxation with friends and acquaintances was like.
