I’m watching first dates on TV just now. As I’m in my (detail removed by moderator) I’m guaging how people talk to each other, since obviously I was married and with my oh for so long. I’m watching an older couple, mid 60’s flirting with each other and I’m cringing. She’s just asked him if he’s well endowed. It’s literally made me feel sick. Because my oh spoke so derogatorily to me especially during sex, he made my feel like as..t. I know I’m still not ready to date, the sex talk is reminding me how he made me feel.

That’s how you know he’s not the sort of person you want to be with. I’ve been on a few dates now and any mention of sex on or before the first date and they’re off the list. Yes it’s triggering but I think it’s also inappropriate. I even ended it because one guy sent an inappropriate video about sex. You want to be around someone that makes you feel comfortable. There’s no rush. I’m still dating myself and it’s great. I get chocolate and get to watch my favourite movies and I bring myself hot chocolate in bed! 😂💕 it would be nice to find a partner but only when I’m ready x
