Hi ladies, I hope you are all doing ok. When you meet someone new and start dating have you/would you tell the guy about your abusive ex? If you did, did it help? If not, was it harder for you? Id be really grateful if you would please share your experiences. Thank you.

I did tell my new guy right away, we started as friends anyway so there was less pressure but I still felt it was important to say from the onset why I have trust issues and overthink and analyse everything he says

You can tell him as little or as much as you’re comfortable with especially in the early stages but I feel it’s bwrtwr for your relationship Rhein springing it on him weeks/months down the line
