Hello, when I left my “partner” and contacted the police about everything he made a false allegations which has been proven by the police that it was false ((detail removed by moderator) pure hell) I’m now back at work from being suspended by this but I haven’t heard anything from the police in months or received my phone or laptop back…I’ve contacted my domestic violence worker but she hasn’t responded in weeks….has anyone else been through this humiliating strip search?

Just wanted to show you some support, what an ordeal to have been through. You could call 101 which is the non emergency police number to see if someone can let you know when you can expect to receive your phone and laptop back.
Its not nice being in limbo unsure of what is happening, Hopefully you will be able to speak with your DV worker this week, its ok to contact them again if you do not hear back just in case they have missed the message or email.

Thank you for the support Lisa. I’ve tried texting and calling my DV and she still hasn’t responded…this happens quite alot and I’m to anxious to ask for a different DV as my current one really isn’t that supportive. As for the police I’m terrified to ask for a update…it’s horrible waiting it’s almost been a year and I can’t afford to get a new phone or laptop. My current phone is really really old and hardly works. I’m seeing citizens advice soon… hopefully they can give me some more advice 🙁
