      During the media briefing held on the 3rd of April, in his introduction the Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of the World Health Organisation is raising awareness and recognition about increased domestic violence reports from several countries during COVID-19 lockdowns.
      He urges governments to support the fight against Domestic Abuse as essential service to be provided to all abused women and children.

      All good advice hey; the court order advice in particular. Makes it clear women can keep their child at home if they fear a covid risk and to comply with the covid regulations. I interpreted the guidance in this way a few weeks ago now, but it’s good to have the official information direct from the courts to back me up!

      Didn’t know of the 55 thing when calling police – great idea x
