My family believe that I shouldnt ever go back to the town I left. I feel like I’ve been permanently banned from that town.

How do you comes to term with losing all your friends and everything you’ve ever known to moving to a whole new town with no one you know?

I feel like i should always be worried or scared that he might do something if I was to bump into him …

      advice

It’s scary! Indeed! But it isn’t possible. I have moved to U.K. to study, and about to move to another city within the country. But I guess you can try looking up to local groups in the city that you wanna move to, at least you know the available resources and network supports first. Making new friends is hard, especially when there’s seems no one supporting you, but unknown is hope, you may meet even more precious and lovely ppl in the new town. Sending you lots of love x it takes courage to do what’s good for you!

Unfortunately I’ve had to move with a new baby. So now I’ve got my own place I’m feeling more alone than before. I’m struggling with my social anxiety and meeting new people.
Maybe one day I will be ok

It’s tough, I also got social anxiety and ptsd. The contradiction between longing for friends and feeling anxious to reach out is terrible. But take your time, don’t force yourself, be kind to yourself when you feel bad, be the one who love yourself, since you deserve it. Or we can chat via private msg if you like. Sending you lots of love x
