I’m not blaming my ex for my debt in any shape or form, however he did make it very difficult to save and pay off my debt which resulted in more debt and a massive drop in my credit score.

(detail removed by moderator)I got out of an emotionally abusive and controlling relationship and finally started to manage my finances thanks to a supportive mam and dad. I never borrowed money off them: they just gave me advise.

(detail removed by moderator) I finally was able to get a condolence loan and put everything in one place and drop my outgoings by £300, which means I can finally get some savings together.

Now that my ex is out of my life I’m in a much better place financially and I will never need to rely on another person to help me out ever again. I finally feel independent again!

It’s been a long f*****g journey to get to this point!
