Hi Smsoh. You have found a truly accepting, supportive, non-judgemental band of women supporting each other.

Post when you feel able. We’ll be here for you.

      Xx

      hi all
ive been out off this abusive relationship for (detail removed by Moderator) months now and everything still feels so raw
ive had no support in dealing with this.
weve been moved from one part off (detail removed by Moderator) to another had one previous social worker who was absolutly amazing and gone to another part off (detail removed by Moderator) to a social worker who is the worst.

      Hi smsoh

Welcome from me too. So sorry to hear that you have suffered this way.

It will take time to heal and recover and when you need some support just ask.
This forum will be here for you and the helpline if you want to talk without judgement confidentially to women who know well the tactics of the abuser and the effects on you. Theres your doctor too and it might be worth reconnecting with your previous social worker to discuss your situation now for recommendations and options. I think you could request an alternative SW.

Its good to hear you had the experience of an amazing SW so you can immediately notice the difference!

Rawness is about the newness of realisations and does ease. Take care of yourself for some good healing.

      Warmest wishes KS x
