There are things that i need to do
instead of just being “his wife”
i have desires too
a desire to make my dcisions
visit places i’d like to see
i am not just his appendage
i am actually “me”
and as he can’t seem to see that
and thinks that i have no rights
then he must be prepared
to spend some lonely nights
