Can anyone help? I’ve been fortunate enough to be shortlisted and nominated for a maisonette where I live. The thing is it’s a block of flats in a very undesirable area. I know I sound awful but the types of people that live there are not who I want my children to be around, drugs etc! I get 2 nominations and if I refuse both I get disqualified from the housing register.
Should I view it anyway or refuse and hope something better comes up?

I am sorry, I can’t comment but I wanted to show you some support. I know it is a tough decision to make and particularly when an abusive relationship has eroded your belief in making good decisions. I am sure whatever you decided it was the right choice.
