& never have. and i feel its kept me safer, not just because of the issues surrounding domestic abuse, but also because of when i hear the horror stories of how people hide behind anonymity & present the worst version of themselves
and i have realized today that even during the season of goodwill, some people will still let themselves down – so i wonder whether their consciences will surface when all is quiet without distractions
i have only ever written or responded on this forum with a very big heart, wanting to show both empathy & kindness. so hope that i can continue feeling safe enough to do so x

I don’t go on social media myself because it all seems so fake.

I initially used it when it was first started then don’t bother now. I do other things

you may be right stronglife, as i suppose people can also use it as a platform to control what side of themselves that they want the world to see – and this is probably what has then made you feel that it all seems so fake x

Minimeerkat there world is full of fakes!! People let u down when u try to help,but they don’t want help my friend ,they just want attention!! Any attention is better than none in some people’s lives. Hope ur ok my friend.xxxx

wow, no never thought of it that way, thank you. suppose it can be used for that as well
probably quite addictive then if its fulfilling some kind of void in peoples lives
but then maybe a lifeline for others – must still be difficult though to determine the authenticity amongst it all though x
