      Hi I am going through emotional abuse I need advice

      I have been called lots of bad names been told I am unfit mother I’m apparently chasing another women’s husband who (detail removed by moderator) My partner calls me a s**g he demands I get him things if I don’t clena his uniform he gives me verbal abuse I need to change I am over weight, I see to the kids daily on my own I run around in the mornings getting them ready for school while he takes his medicine and sees t himself and reads a book! I am a coward I am cheating on him cos I got a pay rise! I just feel like I am never good enough for him or anyone if I go out eith my friends he hates them they are bad news! I have to be in bed before he gets home cos he downstairs want to see me! He has been horrible and verbal to me all day it’s mentally draining I need advice please what shall I do I feel like I want to leave but it’s hard cos of the kids he threatens me with words and all he has done is say I am chasing my boss and I am up his arse all u am doing is my job !! I feel like quitting my job my life but my kids keeo me going! They see me upset all the time what shall I do?

        Thank you for your post. I’m sorry to hear about your situation. What you described does sounds really draining and must be exhausting dealing with this day to day. He wants you to feel trapped- you are none of the horrible things he calls you.

        I would encourage you to contact your local domestic abuse service for ongoing support. They can help you around safety planning and planning to leave in the future if that is what you want.
