Leaving a job behind

For anyone who’s had to relocate, how did you leave your job? My family aren’t close and I want to be near them but I currently have a part time job and just can’t find the right way to quit.

Yes I have just walked out. (If safety issue)

Sometimes they asked me for txt. Notice would be good if you can give it. Might be a given time period ie two weeks or month etc for a good reference. That will be in contract.

“I’m relocating” is all you need to say.

Please be aware some bosses get out of control. Some have emotional time – this is normal. It’s your life and you are relocating for excellent reason and they should understand that. Hope that helps from veteran of leaving places.
