ParticipantHello, new to this forum…it’s taken a while to get here, just so worried about anything online being used against me.
I went to the police over DA and my partner (detail removed by Moderator). I have no ideas where things might go for him.
I need to start arranging matters now, specifically housing. We own house jointly, he pays the mortgage, I pay bills. From knowing his attitude, I’m expecting he will want to sell up and force a sale using a legal route if I don’t agree. We have (detail removed by Moderator) year old (detail removed by Moderator) boys.
Will the legal aid help me defend anything here, or will I need to pay for this myself? I have under £(detail removed by Moderator) of savings and earn just over (detail removed by Moderator) pa. If the house is sold my share will probably cover 2-3 years of rent somewhere here. I know there is info out there but I’m just so confused, my family live miles away and I feel so alone.
Thankyou for the support.

ParticipantI’ve been reading about non molestation orders or occupation orders for the home. I’m a little worried about trying these as if failed it will make the situation worse when trying to arrange actual living arrangements and financial plans for us to split once they end.
I don’t really think I’d need either but was advised to think about them to give me more breathing space. (detail removed by Moderator).
