      I very very rarely ever think there’s any ‘positives’ to what is happening at home, yeah we have some nice moments but I never really think I am making progress or things are improving.

      However, Im trying to change my mindset a little and be grateful for smaller wins.

      So anyway, the actual point of this post, I finally am opening up to people (outside of from behind a laptop). Today I spoke to my lecturer at uni, I cried, a lot but I said it, I told her almost everything, and gosh I am so relieved.
      Even though nothing has really changed, it feels like a weight off my shoulders.

      Hi, good on you for taking that first step ,it really helps to talk. At first it’s difficult to open up as we are often in denial and then scared of talking about what’s going on.
      It’s always good to have someone you trust that you can confide in.
