Out for tea!!

Posting this because I shocked myself at how different, and how good it felt, hoping it gives someone else a glimmer of hope:

I went out with my new work colleagues for tea.
I didn’t have to ask anyone’s permission to go. No 3rd degree or made to feel guilty for going.
It was simple.
It was easy.
It was bliss.

Eggshells, so glad it helped. I still have a long way to go, but a few little ‘positive moments’ have opened my eyes to how different my life can be (for the better) and makes me want it more and more. It won’t be easy but it will be worth it, hope you get to sample it soon xx

I’m so pleased for you, and thank you for sharing. So many of us have such little hope or confidence we can live happier lives or even have those type of positive experiences because of how much has been taken from us. Bingowashisname0, thank you, I’ve Just read you’re post, I’m sooo pleased for you too, you are further along than me but you have also given me hope too as the children’s reaction to our seperation was my biggest worry, it’s so nice to hear you’ve had a positive outcome from it. I can’t wait to finally have my own peaceful, calm home for us to thrive in and be happy 🥰
