I will always be indebted to the two women who had made complaints about my abusive ex! (detail removed by moderator) The second incident was dropped due to lack of evidence! I knew something wasn’t right about him but him and his mother all made me feel as though it was me! The Clare’s disclosure made me realise it wasn’t me and not to listen to all his pleads for forgiveness! From the disclosures the abuse could have become far worse than what I had already suffered! I reported him for what he’d done to me, I hope this will protect his next victims and show him for what he really is! X

Well done. I did the same and would encourage every abuse victim to do likewise. It empowered me. Gave me back some of my dignity. Scary as hell but worth it. There is so much support out there. I would never pressure anyone but there is anonymous reporting too. My ex used to say it was his word against mine. Not if other victims speak out. Onwards and upwards x
