Million Women Rise is an informative banner to make us aware of the women’s march this Saturday 9th of March in London to support the end of male violence against women and girls.

Check out their website for more infos:
      millionwomenrise com

So join in, polish your nails bright red, wear red lipstick or wear a bright red dress or top in solidarity; red the color of blood for all women and girls killed and raped in domestic violence.
Red, also the color of passion, love, strength, rebellion and determination. Yes!!❤️🌺💃💪💋

For those who aren’t living in London (like me), check out what is happening in your towns and cities on Friday the 8th of March, International women’s day, a global day for celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Why doesn’t it tell us anything though?

I don’t understand why post just the title.

The same for the economic of dmstic abuse research report, clicked on the link no report.

No information about how to find the report and no information on its findings! Whats the point? If you can’t see it, or how to find it?

      Where is it please Lisa?

      Hi all,

There was a link to the website A Million Women Rise in the original post, but I’m sorry if it wasn’t working. It is a march against women’s oppression and violence against women. It is tomorrow, Saturday 9th March 2019, starting 12pm in central London, women and girls only. The start of the march is at Duke Street, London, W1U 1AT (next to Selfridges).

Please have a read through the Million Women Rise website for more information about the movement and the work they do. We didn’t leave the topic open for discussion as we would not want to compromise anyone’s safety by the inclusion of detailed information.

We hope anyone attending finds it to be a positive and inspiring event, and those not attending can trust that a collective of women are gathering to raise awareness and to promote change.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women reading and posting on this forum. We are very grateful for the community you have created and the fantastic support provided here.

      Kind Regards,

      Lisa

      Dear TS,

This link should take you to the complete Women’s Aid Economics of Abuse Report 2019.

This link should take you to the Report Summary.

If these are not working for any reason, go to the main Women’s Aid website and click on ‘Latest News’. There is a photo of our patron Mel B delivering the report to Number 10 Downing Street.

      Hope this helps,

      Lisa
