Hi it’s been a while since I’ve been on here. I would like some advice about any experience of stalking please. I have gone through my divorce with an injunction in place. This stopped when the divorce was finalised.
I never feel completely safe but have managed to move on.
(detail removed by Moderator) at around (detail removed by Moderator), I was in a (detail removed by Moderator) with a friend. I had my back to the room and was facing the wall. A man came to sit in the corner facing me. I noticed he had a (detail removed by Moderator). He just sat facing forward. After a few minutes he finished his (detail removed by Moderator). I was very uncomfortable afterwards and my instinct tells me I should be worried.
I spoke to the staff about their CCTV and asked them to make a note of my concerns. I said I felt creeped out and they agreed it was odd. Does anyone here have any experience of the third party tactics used by their abusers please? I’m scared. Thank you

      Hi SILKIE,

I’m so sorry to hear about this incident, it’s understandable that you would be feeling unnerved and frightened. Well done for having the presence of mind to speak to the staff about what happened. You could reach out to the National Stalking Helpline for some specialist advice. You can contact them on 0808 802 0300 (9.30am – 8pm Mondays and Wednesdays, 9.30am – 4pm Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays). There’s also Paladin (National Stalking Advocacy Service) who support victims of stalking who are at high risk of harm.

      Take care and keep posting,
      Lisa
