I have moved at work and have told my new boss what has been going on. I told my last one and they weren’t really interested at all even though they had been in an abusive relationship themselves. My new boss has been amazing and has arranged for me to have counselling through work. I have my first phone assessment next week. I am even being given an hour off each week to have it!

Your boss sounds very wise and supportive; a happy workforce equals high productivity – it’s not rocket science is it and yet so many get it wrong. Not this time though hey! Brilliant news x

That’s fantastic. An empathetic line manager can help so much. Well done on getting the courage up to tell them.
