Trauma bond

Is a trauma bond just with 2 people who had trauma and you then are hooked badly or the person or can you get as badly hooked if you haven’t experienced trauma and the abuser did

Hi,

Trauma bonding refers to a bond between the abuser and person they are abusing because of the trauma of abuse and the fact that the abuser is the one causing hurt but also providing comfort. It doesn’t refer to trauma that happened outside of the abusive relationship.
