I have someone close to me whose children have been snatched by their father! He is mentally abuse and uses coercive control (although she hasn’t been able to get police action against him – in fact he used them against her!
Two of these children have asd and will be really worrying about what the hell is going on!
What can this mum do? I’ve left a message on the helpline number to get advice that I can pass on. But does anyone know what to do?

Ring the police and get them to return the children because of the welfare issues involved. Speak to a solicitor about a legally binding contact order so the court can intervene if she doesn’t already have one.
