I posted a short time ago about how my kids live with a family member of my ex, and how after I started to take control away from my ex over finances, they talked about dropping my number of visits with my kids. I had suspected that something would happen. Now, the problem is, I want to report my ex to the police for rape, sexual assault etc and I’m really worried what his family member will do. Maybe they would stop the visits, or lie and say that I’ve done something wrong during a visit……I would not put it past them. I really want my ex to pay for what he did to me, but their actions so far have scared me (I know that’s what they want).

I think you would have to have legally binding access and maybe get a third party to collect kids. I imagine it would cause all sorts of problems for you. Also, if there is no real evidence, he might get away with anyway it and you’re left dealing with the aftermath. I know how much you want closure but you have to put you and your kids first. You may be able to give a statement via rape crisis to the police and remain anonymous. Try ringing them for advice X

You need to write to the manager of your SS and tell them what you intend to do and also what he did to you and which repercussions your plight of seeking justice has for your relationship with your own blood.

If necessary you also need to involve your local MP.

      How is your health now?
Do you think you could take the kids back into your own care? You are in a relationship and have support.
