Hi, me and my partner been together for over (detail removed by moderator) and he was always “abusive” but my Inglês wasn’t good and he is always good with words that i always thought that am doing something wrong and i kind of deserve, now i have i little person and is killing my the way she talks to me the way she started treating me like her Father does, i honestly dont want to take her away from him i need to get way, every time he pushes, slap or shout at me in front of her it make me feel so so s**t, i feel this is time for me to leave, because i have no money no work its been abit of nightmare, but i took the first step that is wanting to leave, i’ve been doing things to sort out my way out, but i feel that am doing something wrong, so i have no idea what to thing. Somedays like today am just on the melt down.

      Hi leaf

      Sorry you’re going through this

What you’re feeling is normal you feel guilty for trying to break away from this relationship but this is part of the cycle.

Research FOG fear obligation guilt if you haven’t already as it explains why you feel as you do.

I think almost everyone on here can relate to how you’re feeling.

Guess what Leaf? you’re doing nothing wrong. You’ve got a little human and you want to protect them. Do everything you can to make a fresh start you deserve it.

I’m trying just now, not the first time either. But I can relate to exactly how you are feeling so you are not alone.

Look after yourself and keep going x

Thank you. I haven’t heard about FOG before but will definitely have a better look at it later on. Thank you again
