Women’s Aid carry out a survey of local domestic abuse services every year, known as The Women’s Aid Annual Survey. This year we are introducing our new annual survey for survivors of and women experiencing domestic abuse to ensure that survivors voices stay at the heart of our work. The survey aims to capture the views and experiences of survivors and each year we will ask questions about the national response to domestic abuse along with questions on a particular theme. This year we are looking at money and finances and how they affect experiences of domestic abuse.

This survey should take about 20 minutes to complete.

The deadline for completing the survey: Friday 13th July 2018, 5pm

The online survey will be closed after this time.

The survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SVoice2018

      Your response

You can complete this survey anonymously. The aim of this research is to find out more about the experiences of women survivors of domestic abuse. This year the survey looks at experiences with a particular focus this year on money, finance and resources. Research findings will be published in the upcoming Domestic Abuse Report 2018 and in media releases, and we may also produce articles summarising the findings for Women’s Aid’s Safe magazine and will talk about the findings in online articles. If your contributions are used in these public products, any identifying factors will be removed such as people’s names or place names. However, please be aware that it may still be possible for someone who knows you well to identify any quotes we use from your responses.

      Covering your tracks online

If you are worried about someone seeing what you have been doing online, use a different computer, either at a local library, internet cafe, at a friend’s house or at work. Please see our information on covering your tracks online at https://www.womensaid.org.uk/cover-your-tracks-online

      Getting support or help
