      Hi all

It is now coming up for (timeframe removed by Moderator) years since I left with my kids and then kitten!  It has been a tough time having to rebuild our lives and not seeing family. I hope my dad knew how much he meant to me before he died.

I am now with a good man who treats me and the kids good. I did post about my new man but he handled things differently and didn’t realise how he was coming across

Importantly I can say no and not feel bad.  My ex would sulk for England

I seriously can’t say it’s been easy but I am proud of how far we have come in the last (timeframe removed by Moderator) years.

Stay strong ladies we are survivors and don’t let the b******s grind us down.

      Hi survivorabuse,

Thank you for posting and sharing this, I know that it will bring hope for a lot of women who read it. It’s always great to hear positivity about what’s possible in life after abuse. I’m so glad that you’re able to comfortably have boundaries. You’re absolutely right to be proud.

      Take care and keep posting,
      Lisa
