      Hi, me again!

So I know I need to call UC and get onto a single claim – now that I know this is possible being under the same roof still.

However, I am very anxious! I am a worrier about talking on a phone anyway (fine in person). I guess I’m just worried they won’t believe me or they won’t help.

What were everyone’s experiences? What sorts of questions do they ask you? There is a group on fb that helps with this stuff but they don’t except anonymous posts and I don’t really want to reveal myself 🙁

I didn’t speak to anyone when I made the application. I went to job centre about something else, had to tell the woman my situation, and she said I should be claiming UC.. did it and just put in the box the GP name and the service that is supporting me. And described the situation. No other questions or anything. They fast tracked it.

I already have a joint claim with abuser 🙁 I would much prefer to physically go and talk to someone at the job Centre but with COVID that’s not going to be possible atm x
