Keeps having violent outbursts which is quite scary. He’s at home all day totally bored has been a for couple years as he does not have the confidenice to do anything. He’s slamming doors drinking heavily at weekends and last weekend he went down to the local pub were my ex abuser goes why he wants to do this when he’s caused him so much hurt I don’t know. X

Hi Betterdays – My son works for my ex, it sometimes feels like a betrayal so i do empathise with you, he sees him daily. I don’t think he means it as such but the normalising of what has happened can be his way of getting on with life and he is getting on with his, my mistake is not his I guess. I try to focus on the fact that he will not have to think about it so much and let him know that i don’t resent him for it. I hope that he is not affected as I am. Hope this helps.
