So I left the tox8c household with my daughter and moved in with a close family member, I am very lucky in this aspect as she has lots of room. I contacted the council to get me and daughter on the housing list, we have been awarded a homeless award as even though we jointly own a house with a mortgage I can not return. So I have been on the council list now for a month or so and I am being shortlisted for 2 properties, the relationship I have with him at the minute is fair. He is being very very nice at the minute and just wants us to be a family again, plying me with false promises and things will change, my mind is firmly made up now and I will not show any weakness. The promise of a safe happy house for me and my baby girl gives me the drive and keeps me strong. I am the happiest I have been in years at the minute and I hope it continues, he does try and inflict drama on my life as we will always have a connection due to the child. Stay positive ladies xxxx

It is good to hear that you made it out safely and that you and your daughter have a new, happier and safer life to look forward to. You have set a great example to your daughter, showing her that abuse is not OK and doesn’t have to be tolerated. You have very good reason to be proud of yourself.
