My husband has joined a secret men’s only organisation, without my knowledge or agreement.
I’m feeling very worried that this could make things very difficult for me in the future, if I decide to report him or leave, if the members support him.
I am worried about corruption and him being viewed as above the law, especially having already been let down by the police before.
Am I being paranoid or am I right to worry?
I really appreciate the support and insight of this group, and if anyone has any knowledge or experience of this I would be so grateful.
I hope everyone’s feeling the best they can under the circumstances xx

I think I know what group you are talking about. As my abusive ex was also apart of that group. Before he was abusive he used to talk about it and how some judges are part of those groups.
I really don’t know if it would help them get away with real bad crimes.
But with support from womens aid and a knowledgeable womens aid worker I do believe they could get you free. There will always be a reason to stay and not try and push to leave but there is nothing better than that freedom. There is always a way I truly believe that.
