Couple of baby steps taken this week to leaving. Put an official request to work to propose some job related changes to make it easier to go. Have also got a couple of small farm animals in a rented field and have found somewhere new for them to go when the time comes.
I can no longer do anything to help my prtner. He has moved on to pretty much 24 hr sleeping to avoid dealing with things that are happening in his life. The hours he is awake he’s on at me for money. It’s no life. If he won’t take action to sort his out then I’m off and I just have to hold it together to follow through.

Just remind yourself of all the reasons why you need to remove yourself from this relationship.
Wishing you nothing but the best x

Thanks intr0vert – you are absolutely right. I have a list of the bad things I keep looking at to keep me on track. There are some good days but there are a lot of bad things on the list!! x

My work has been pretty amazing. While HR doesn’t have much to offer me insofar as support right now, I am (detail removed by moderator) at work … and you better know, this is going to be a big topic in next year, as far as I’m concerned. However, my colleagues have been awesome insofar as support. For a lot of them though, they saw it coming.

Baby steps count and keep working the issues. That’s a very positive momentum to work off of. Go you! xX

      Thank you 🙂
My colleagues have been awesome eve since issues really started kicking in. They are horrified when I come in the office and give the latest update. I’m hoping my request is approved. If not it’s still ok, I will plan around it. Feels good to have made a start 🙂

I hope it goes well and then you get to see that you have more friends and support among your colleagues than you thought before.

Finger crossed. Usually work wants to keep great talent … and hello? You’ve been smashing it so far at work on top of all of this. Folks will recognise that. xX
