Having a rant here. (detail removed by Moderator) again I become the problem. My partner was heading to work I said bye got out of bed and as I walked to the toilet I noticed (detail removed by Moderator). I said (detail removed by Moderator) then quickly moved onto another conversation.

he then messages me saying (detail removed by Moderator).

He’s also sitting downstairs saying (detail removed by Moderator)! In a stupid voice. he proceeded to text me to say he doesn’t care he has (detail removed by Moderator). But then why mention it to me on text, clearly it does bother him!

I hate when he does this, he tries to put me down when I’m trying to building myself up going to therapy. It feels like he always has something to say, after I say anything innocent. He’s a control freak!! I try and joke things off and quickly forget his comments.

      sorry for the rant.

      love Sunsetluv x

Grr, I remember this so well. So sorry this is your day you definitely don’t deserve this and jeez isn’t pointing this stuff out helpfully normal for partners. My ex would do similar over socks, pants or clean clothes. I’d do exactly like you are now and worry & wonder then I’d usually go out and buy more socks, pants, T-shirts or whatever it was this time. So he’d got new stuff for free, a partner with her confidence knocked, additional control because I’d be less likely to say anything remotely negative in the future for fear of repercussion, oh and he’d usually use this as an excuse to go out that night. It’s horrible especially that nasty, vile comments like ‘(detail removed by Moderator)’ when you walk in the room. Look after yourself and if safe to do so, just leave him to his tantrum as sadly there’s no reasoning with them whilst being this vile. x
