      I wanted to ask if anyone else here has experienced their other half  telling you that you are in the wrong for not agreeing with them and the more times we have our own opinions the more the more angrier they get . Just curious.  Thank you in advance. No worries if  this is not the case .

      Read something about not being respected when a person’s opinion is dismissed or being told you are wrong all the time.

      Hi Stargazing1,

      It is really dismissive and not okay if your other half is always telling you you’re wrong and gets angry at you for having your own opinion. I’m sure this is something that lots of women here have experienced. Hopefully some will be able to reply and share this with you soon.

      Hi stargazing,

      Yes I’m totally with you in your situation. I feel like anytime I have my own opinion that differs from his there’s an argument, because I’m wrong. It’s happened very recently. I had a different opinion, voiced it calmly, politely, explained my reasons and have had silent treatment since. He varies between having a go at me for hours and hours or completely ignoring me

      Hi @Put the Kettle on ,  I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this too . My heart goes out to you . I wish it wasn’t occurring for you at all .   It’s very difficult when we are not allowed an opinion of our own.  Sounds like we are in the same boat . I just wish these things didn’t happen.  Please take care of yourself and keep safe . I wish for brighter days ahead for you ✨️.  Thank you for your answer 😊.

      Once again I’ve been told I’ve been told what I’m saying is wrong.   One sentence and here we go again 🙄. Pathetic .

      He’s had another go at me again today because I didn’t agree with him .    He was really aggressive in his body language and speech .   I told him that just because I have a different opinion I shouldn’t be talked to like that .  Never ever an apology.  He makes me puke.
