beautiful evening tonight

With my daughter! We had a great time in a restaurant eating fantastic food. She is so clever, so pretty, so lovely. She really loved it! We spoke about lots of things and she told me how she felt while I was at the refuge. Sad stuff…but she was very honest and told me how sad she had felt.
She laughed at how easy I find it to chat to anyone and everyone. The waiter was very friendly. And she said she wa ts to have my ring on her finger when I am no longer there…a ring I bought when I was a teenager and which still fits my finger over 30 years later, I have no difficulty putting it on and taking it off. My daughter finds my slim fingers amazing.
She also said if her dad had killed me when he strangled me she would never have forgiven him. I cannot even imagine what she actually thinks about him…
What a beautiful deep evening spent with her. She was pleased her studies are going well so far. We spoke about how animals respond to human touch, how they manage to trust humans. She will miss our pets when she goes to uni. She wants to come and visit me often… 🙂
