Law in the Making Project
Nobody understands the impact of domestic abuse better than survivors. As experts by your experience, your voices should be central in defining legislation and setting policies.
On 21 January 2019 the government published its draft domestic abuse bill. The bill has the potential to create a real change in the national response to tackling domestic abuse, and the voice of survivors must be central to this change.
Law In The Making is a groundbreaking new project giving survivors the tools and opportunities to influence the bill as it makes its way through parliament and into law.
If you are survivor and would like to share your ideas for the bill and keep updated about the project please join our online group on the Survivors’ Forum here.
