Everyone at work was so excited for a 4 day weekend but I am dreading it. Having a rubbish (timeframe removed by Moderator) already with him (timeframe removed by Moderator). He is so drunk he’s been off (timeframe removed by Moderator) and I’ve just had snide comments since (timeframe removed by Moderator). Won’t stop.

Hes reorganised some stuff in the house which is nice but then keeps telling me I should do this and I don’t pull my weight (I work full time and he hasn’t worked all (timeframe removed by Moderator)). That I should f myself. What’s my problem. Why am I so miserable. If I was more fun it wouldn’t be like this.

And the weekend hasn’t even started yet…

I don’t have much to say except that even if you were the most fun person ever it would still be like this. It’s not you it’s him who has the issues. It’s so hard isn’t it. X*x

In a non abusive relationship where one person worked full time, and then the other, who had done a bit of (relatively) pointless moving around of furniture, had a go at them for not ‘pulling their weight’ …the working partner would, quite rightly, be outraged and very angry.

Thats the weird thing isn’t it. You’ve been silenced and cowed by him so that you’ll put up with this. I say ‘you’ but I mean all of us who’ve been in these relationships.

Then people ask what they get out of being abusive.

Theres one part of the answer right there.

They can do and say what they want and we fontvhavevthecright to answer back of get justifiably angry.
