Was coping well, yes he was contacting me every day, sometimes not. I went a walk today, on my way home, there he was, S..T, what do I do??? So we spoke, observing social distancing đ I’d left my phone at home, was his excuse to come looking for me, that and some other stuff. No aggression, but this is stalking, isn’t it? If he can’t get me on the phone he comes down to where I am, so is this stalking? I don’t want to see him, speak to him. There’s no aggression, if I ask for him to not contact me through the powers that be, it’s like there’s no reason, why cant he leave me be?? Said he’d call me later, so I’ve blocked him. Don’t know what to do…

Hi Iwantmeback,
If you have made clear to him you do not want him contacting you or physically seeing you, he needs to respect this. Otherwise, yes this behaviour is a problem. If it compromises your sense of safety, do report this to the police. Making a record whenever this happens builds a case for stalking and harassment, allowing the police to take action.
No doubt this is distressing for you, so perhaps get in touch with the National Stalking Helpline on 0808 802 0300. Find there website here. This is a form of abuse that can be difficult to know how to report and deal with, so getting some specialised advice may help.
Do keep posting to let us know how you get on with this,Lisa

Hi IWMB, I’m sorry that you’re having to deal with this. I hope he sees sense and respects your wishes. But if he continues down this road then you must contact and report him to the police. Stay safe, thinking of you xx

Even if you lived together him following you out the house would be wierd. You know you left your phone at home. How did he know it was at home and you were out? Your phone could have been next to you, on silent whilst you were watching corrie……how did he know you weren’t in your house? You need to tell someone. I’m sure there’s a stalker app so you can put in sightings and see a pattern. I have no idea what it’s called though.
