      Hello

Could anyone recommend somewhere/wesbites/experience to get advice around child contact for a young baby? My abuser wants to come and live nearby and see the baby several times a week unsupervised, moving towards shared care. What is reasonable to offer, and what justifications can I give that will count. I have a solicitor but they haven’t been that helpful, and are difficult to get hold of.

Many thanks in advance for any help!

      Hi newyork,

You could try contacting the Rights of Women who have a family law advice line. They are run by trained female solicitors who offer free legal advice over the phone. https://rightsofwomen.org.uk/

We know they can sometimes be difficult to get through to as they’re in high demand, so you may also wish to contact Coram who offer some free or low cost legal advice over the phone. They’re on 0300 330 5480 and the website is https://www.coram.org.uk/

      I hope this helps.

      Take care,
      Lisa
