(timeframe removed by Moderator) months ago I found out that I have been a chump for (timeframe removed by Moderator) years. My husband cheated on my (timeframe removed by Moderator) years ago and I forgave him. Then (timeframe removed by Moderator) months ago he confirmed that he’s been sleeping with my friend and our client. But would only admit that it just started. Which is not true I believe they have been together for a few years

      Hi Chump2x,

Try to be kind to yourself. Believing whatever apologies and promises your husband made the first time and choosing to continue in your marriage doesn’t make you a chump. Many, many people would do the same. I’m sorry that he’s cheated again and with your friend, you deserve honesty and to know the full facts to make decisions about your own life. Cheating often happens with domestic abuse, linked through a lack of respect and misogyny about the roles of women and a sense of entitlement in perpetrators.

      Take care and keep posting,
      Lisa
