Yes this is how I am seen! Have been told it, Damaged seriously by an abuser over many years, Also told I’m away so now a survivor, I know that too yet Still feel like a victim of so many peoples taunts, ridicules & deemed damaged goods! Unworthy of any true understanding that damaged goods can’t perform like undamaged ones x

Hello, Blueberry. ‘Damaged goods’ is a misogynistic comment that says more about the person who made the comment than it does about you. My daughter’s father made sexist comments like this all the time and what really upset me was not that it said anything about me but more that I was entangled with someone who thought like this. You’re not ‘goods’. xx

Thank You older lady, none of us are goods, you are so right, we are humans with feelings who have been damaged & scarred by abusers who don’t have feelings for anyone except themselves x

Intresting comment how we get called damaged goods, reality is we are not damaged , but that is their motive to damage us, i rememember thinking this is how he made me feel, that i was just damaged and not good enough, but reality is they were not good enough for us
