daughter ask for information

My daughter hasn’t had anything to do with my for years. Then the other week she said through a third party she needed some information from me. I wept because I wanted contact but then I was scarried of rejection after she got what she wanted.

After speaking with a friend I email her to be told it was to late. She lied about when she asked so I’m thinking it’s a mind game.

I feel foolish that I tried now. I hope I haven’t open up a bucket full of pain.
