Is being honest with someone a mistake? some take it in the wrong way, & can so often see it as abuse? but why? if it’s well meaning & polite. Don’t people value honesty? Or is it because they are seeing someone who’s honest as an abuser of their feelings? That’s victim like behaviour isn’t it? 💞

Being honest is never a mistake. But in an abusive relationship it is to be avoided!

Oh yes, I know. I’m sure I didn’t know the person at all!

In his head …me being honest is :
      Lying
      Makes him anxious
      Being angry
      Arguing with him
      Being difficult

Like most wrong doers they refuse to see truth, put their hand up to being in the wrong, and genuinely apologise! Make changes to themselves. I’m feeling for you 💞
