I split up with my ex about (detail removed by moderator). Im happy about this and want nothing to do with him. It would make me happy to never speak to him again. However we have kids and despite a non mol it’s been left open for him to contact me about kids. He’s being deliberately obtuse and won’t commit to have set days or times. He’s rather engage me in conversation and then accuse me of all sorts of things. He keeps accusing me of having an affair, referring to my new man. There isnt one (I have been on a few dates not that it’s any of his business). He’s recently got a letter from the CSA and is now accusing me of ruining his life. But this is his fault, right? I’m paying his share of the mortgage and everything for the kids to the point I can barely afford food or school uniform. He thinks because I was civil the last time I dropped the kids off were somehow going to end up back together. I’m so annoyed that there’s nothing I can do about it. I’ve engaged in conversation with him so the non mol isn’t worth the paper it’s written on anymore. I know this is just a massive rant but I’m so annoyed at myself for putting myself in this situation and can’t believe he is still manipulating me after all this time!

      Hi Anon321123,

Yes this is 100 percent his fault, do not let him make you think otherwise. You sound so strong.
I don’t know much about non molestation orders, is there nothing that the police can do if he continually breaks the conditions of this? As he is not using the fact that its left open to talk about the kids, he’s using it to further abuse you. Can you keep a log of every incident like this and seek some further support about the order? Sending massive hugs x
